Set in the 1950s, Herculaneum Docks features the CLC line in Liverpool where it emerges from the Dingle Tunnel and runs along to Brunswick Goods. It also features the MD&HB. currently the dock is being out fitted with the Liverpool overhead railway or dockers umbrella as it was known locally.

Leeds Trams

Originally started as a small 4ft x 3ft layout to test trams, Leeds trams has now grown to itn?s current size of nearly 46ft in length. It models the leeda area around the early 1950n?s period, the layout includes Headingley, Middleton woods and the town centre.

 

Aire Main Yard

Leeds area circa 1947. The layout represents a fictional LNER/LMS/Colliery interchange yard. The main action is provided by the arrival of empty coal trains hauled by LNER and LMS motive power. The trains are then split up and shunted into the colliery by industrial locomotives (mainly based on Leeds prototypes). Loaded wagons are brought out of the colliery and marshalled into trains which depart behind the mainline locomotives.

Originally GCS quarries by Dave Peacey, the layout has been extended and now features an additional stone loader. Operation of the layout uses the latest locomotives and practices from todayn?s varied and colourful railway companies.

Crystal Creek Mine No.2

Crystal Creek, to use it’s short name, is an American HO layout based on Norfolk & Western and Virginian railway practices in the 1950’s. The line is a fictitious model but is based around the Eastern Appalachian Mountains on the west Virginia and Pennsylvania state borders.
