Herculaneum Dock is a OO layout showing the Southern end of the Liverpool dock system in the 1950's. The layout features the Cheshire Lines Brunswick loco shed with a large selection of scratchbuilt and kit locomotives. Passenger services from Liverpool Central run past the shed, while goods trains terminate here at Brunswick Goods station. a large volume of coal traffic is worked on to the docks for bunkering ships: oil tank and other goods traffic is transferred to the Mersey Dock railway system. The track is mostly C&L, requiring fine scale wheels and DG couplings are used throughout.
